EXCHANGE GROUPS
Life was never meant to be done alone, and church is so much more than a Sunday gathering. Exchange Groups are how we connect, grow, and do life together throughout the week — whether that's through a small group that meets regularly, a drop-in gathering, or another way to plug into community.
What is an Exchange Group?
An Exchange Group is any expression of community where people are being spiritually transformed, growing as a spiritual family, and following Jesus together. This might look like a small group that meets weekly, a drop-in space that welcomes you whenever you're able to join, or another opportunity to connect — but in every form, Exchange Groups live and share the Gospel as they serve and do life together in a specific community here in Calgary. These groups are a structured expression of what the body of Christ is called to be doing on earth.
Why Do Exchange Groups Exist?
Exchange Groups exist to help people pursue two commandments together: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbour as ourselves (Matthew 22:34-40). It's community with a purpose — growing closer to God and closer to each other, together.
Who Can Belong to an Exchange Group?
Exchange Groups are the central strategy and tool for our church to provide a place for people to belong, whether or not they believe. They're made up of both believers and non-believers, and our goal is for every group to be a place where anyone can belong — just as Jesus discipled and ministered to all people.
